Bukedea: Authorities in Bukedea district have come on board to disregard the ongoing social media circulating job advertisements all around the media platforms.

The job-circulating advertisement was faked on January 23, 2024, bearing the forged stump of the chief administrative officer for Bukedea.

Mr. Mairia Joseph Mukasa, the Bukedea Chief Administrative Officer, says the circulating job advertisement is the perpetrated advertisement faked by unknown thugs.

“I want to inform the general public that the Bukedea district local government has not advertised for any position,” he said, disregarding the advertisement.

However, according to the faked advertisement, the district is in need of an information officer, procurement officer, parish chiefs, midwives, and account assistants, which is not the case.

Mr. William Wilberforce Tukei, the Bukedea Resident District Commissioner (RDC), told ugreports.co.ug that very many people have disturbed his office, claiming to be considered for the job.

“Very many people are calling me and saying that I should help them get a job, but when I consulted with CAO, the advertisement was fake,” he stressed.

However, Mr. Tukei urged the general public to be security vigilant, saying thugs have come up with a new wave of stealing people.
