BREAKING! Former Presidential Press Secretary Tamale Mirundi is dead
Born in 1964 in Rakai district, Tamale Mirundi was a journalist, author, and political analyst known for his commentary on various media platforms.
Kampala:A renowned political analyzer and former presidential Press Secretary, Tamale Mirundi has passed on.
Among the first to confirm his passing was his close friend and fellow political commentator, Frank Gashumba.
Mirundi had been placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in July after being admitted to Kisubi Hospital. In 2019, Mirundi revealed he had been poisoned, but it is unclear if he fully recovered from the poisoning.

Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous media outlets, including Radio 4, Radio7, NBS TV, Top Radio, Beat FM, ABS TV, Impact FM, STV Uganda, Pearl FM, and Metro FM.
Mirundi, the son of Molly Namatovu and Yowana Mirundi, attended Lubiri Secondary School. Tamale was holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and a Master’s degree in Communication.
