Booma FC grabs key points in West Nile

Zombo: Booma FC of Masindi has concluded its West Nile trip with a 1-1 draw against Paidha Black Angels at Barr Okoro Stadium.

The intense match on Monday saw the teams share the spoils after Booma captain Wesley Kisakye’s 47th-minute header was canceled out in the 65th minute by the 10-man home side.

With this crucial point from Paidha Black Angels, added to another point earned earlier from Midigo Playground against Calvary FC, Booma FC now sits at the top of the country’s second tier with 15 points from 8 games.

Booma FC Coach Skillz Michael Lukyamuzi expressed that his side deserved a better performance, but emphasized that their chances weren’t converted into goals.

Despite this, he remains optimistic, believing that the team will secure better results in the coming matches, starting with the Bunyoro derby on 8th December when Booma FC hosts newcomers Buhimba Saints at Masindi Stadium.
