Bishop Ateirweho tips students on shunning immorality
He also dedicated the candidates in God's hands of their final UNEB exams as confirmed 37 students into the Anglican faith.
Hoima: The Bishop of Bunyoro Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev. Jacob Ateirweho, has implored students to honor God with their bodies and shun immorality if they are to inherit the Kingdom of God.
Bishop Ateirweho sounded the call Wednesday afternoon during his pastoral visit to Premier Secondary School in Hoima City.
He urges all students to shun the evil of homosexuality, a vice he says has spread in the young generation and later cautioned the students and the congregation at large to always abandon the poor dressing codes whereby they need to dress decently while in public, asserting that the wicked will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
The bishop further urged them to be very vigilant about themselves by being careful of the escalating HIV/AIDS killer disease that hits the young generation.
Bishop Ateirweho dedicated the candidates in God’s hands of their final UNEB exams as confirmed 37 students into the Anglican faith.
Princes Dianah Mugenyi, the principal director of premier secondary school Hoima, applauded the bishop for always honoring the school’s invitation and advised the candidates who will be getting their long holidays after UNEB exams to protect their lives, and also appreciated parents for the good collaboration with the school administration.
