Masindi bar attendants arrested for murdering customer
Police recovered exhibits, including a knife and a mobile phone, from the scene.
Masindi: Police in Masindi district are investigating the alleged murder of 49-year-old Francis Ricky Okello, reportedly committed by four bar attendants at Good Life Bar and Lodge in Kisoga Cell, Bulima Town Council.
The suspects, identified as Beatrice Nakimuli, Sharon Atuhura, Mercy Nahurira, and Annet Orishaba, are currently in police custody.
According to Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, Okello visited the bar on the afternoon of January 25, 2025.
Hakiza stated that Okello interacted with the attendants over drinks before a plan was allegedly hatched to rob him.
He explained that Nakimuli first engaged in sexual activity with Okello. Subsequently, the other suspects entered the room, stabbed him in the neck, and stole his money.
