Kikuube: Police in Kikuube district are hunting for a group of people who lynched to death one Charles Balyesiima, 60, a resident of Kiryarwenju village in Kagadi district, on allegations of theft of a motorcycle.

Julius Allan Hakiza, the Albertine region police mouthpiece, told journalists on Monday that the deceased went to Kabwoyo on Sunday with a new motorcycle that the boda-boda cyclists suspected to have been a stolen one.

Hakiza notes that the mob chased the deceased up to where he had his spare parts shop and found many motorcycle number plates in the shop, thus lynching him to death.
